Winterset Bulk Ticket Purchase – 2006/2007 Season

Bulk Buy Lift Ticket Returns should be made in the month of April to get credit for next year.

The bulk buy ticket program is sponsored by the Connecticut Ski Council for their member clubs.  As such, each purchaser must be a member of a participating club.  Here are a few guidelines for this year's program.
  • Bulk buy purchasers must be paid-up members of Winterset Ski club.
  • Bulk buy tickets are intended only for Winterset Ski Club members. They cannot be resold to non-club members; they can be sold to other club members only, and for no more than the price originally paid.
  • Ticket prices are negotiated with the Ski areas based on an estimated purchase volume for all Connecticut Ski Council member clubs.  If this volume is not met, some tickets may not be offered.
  • Club membership cards with the current year's sticker must be available when redeeming vouchers for tickets.  The resorts have the right to refuse redemption if no valid membership card is presented.
  • The CSC has the right to refuse entitlement of a CSC benefit to any club member who abuses the privilege, or is abusive to any ski area employee or CSC officer when the abuse concerns any promotion, discount ticket program, CSC Awareness Day, CSC Kids Day, or any other CSC function of event. This stipulation may be enacted by two or more officers of the CSC.
  • Distribution of tickets through other avenues such as but not limited to websites, eBay, or resort parking lots, will result in the banning of the individual from purchasing vouchers in subsequent seasons.
  • Violators of these rules will result in possible termination of the individual's membership in his/her club, and possible expulsion of the club from CSC.
  • Names of chronic or blatant individual violators will be provided to all CSC member ski clubs on an annual basis.
  • All tickets will be sold by the CSC to member clubs at the discounted face value of the voucher without additional fees of any kind
  • Ticket orders must be received by the bulk buy coordinators on or before 10/1/2008.
  • Please remember to include the shipping/handling/mailing fee per order, which is calculated by the number of tickets ordered time 1.
  • Bulk buy purchases must comprise two (2) separate checks.  One is for the full purchase price of the 2008/2009 order less any credit due from last year's purchase.  The 2nd check is to cover the cost of shipping the tickets to the purchaser.  If the tickets are picked up in person, this check will be returned.  If the 2nd check is not provided, and e-mail will be sent to the member asking for the 2nd check.  The order will be not be processed without this second check and will be returned if not complete by 10/1/2008.
  • Each check must be made out to "Winterset Ski Club".
  • Based on when the resorts supply the ticket vouchers, these vouchers will be available for pickup at Raffle Night in November.  If tickets are picked up in person, the 2nd check will be returned uncashed.
  • If tickets are not picked up, the tickets will be shipped via USPS courier packs.
  • Further information can be obtained by contacting the bulk ticket coordinators via e-mail to the club at wintersetskiclub@hotmail.com.
  • Please don't send membership forms to the Bulk ticket coordinator
  • Please remember to update your phone and e-mail address with membership.  This will make it easier to contact you in the event of an issue with the order forms and information on returns at end of season will only be via e-mail.

-------------------------- Return/Credit Policy ------------------

A limited amount of vouchers may be returned at the end of the season for credit towards next year’s purchase.  The return amount is set by the ski resort and is generally 5%-10% but there is no guarantee that the resorts will accept returns.  Please keep these return limits in mind when ordering.

·         As of 8/2006, there are return limits on the following resorts:
o        Okemo - 20%
o        Mt  Snow – 15%
o        Stratton – 10%
o        Sugarbush – 15%

  • Although the above mountains have specifically stated their return limits the other mountains may follow suit.  You should only purchase tickets that you think you’re going to use.
  • Only credit is given for prior year ticket returns- no refund is given.  Credit for last year’s unused tickets that were returned in April 2008 can be deducted from this years purchase.  Call the bulk buy coordinator if you’re uncertain of the credit amount (if any).
  • Credit for last year’s tickets can only be applied towards tickets to the mountain that grants the credit.  You cannot return Okemo tickets last year and apply the credit toward Mt Snow tickets this year.
  • Credit dollar reductions are based on last seasons prices not this season's..
  • Vouchers must be returned to the Bulk Buy Coordinator in April after the ski season ends for any allowable credit.
