Special Events Just For The Kids

YOUR WINTERSET SKI CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARDS WILL BE NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT -- Please remember to bring them with you.

Winterset had great participation in this event in the past and hopes to have many of it young skiers coming out again this year to participate, meet new ski friends and have a great time. 

Kids Day?
If you’re a member of the CSC, ‘Kids Day’ has a special meaning. For the past 10+ years, the CSC along with a sponsoring ski area holds a day that kids can receive 2 hours of free ski/boarding lessons and join each other at the end of the ski day for a gathering of fun, food and give-aways donated by both the sponsoring ski areas and the Council itself.
This is a perfect example of the Council and the Ski Areas working hand in hand to promote snow sports and also promote family fun at an affordable price...often less than $30 for the day!

Who can get these lessons: Kids from CSC member club and sponsored kids ages 6 – 18

Ability: never never (skied/boarded) to expert

Who gives these lessons? Volunteer A.S.I.A. and P.S.I.A. certified instructors (often shadowed by some other enthusiastic volunteers)

Cost: Free lessons, party, give aways for kids. Lift tickets cost tbd with proof of CSC club membership. Tickets to be bought at the group sales window.
