Lodge Availability: The Sterling Ski Club and Winterset Ski Club affiliation allows for Winterset Members to make reservations for up to 25% of the beds in each Lodge 8 days in advance excluding Holiday Periods (Christmas/New Years Week, MLK Weekend, and President’s Week). However, if any beds are available within 8 days (even on a Holiday) Winterset Members may make a reservation.

Reservationists:

Brattleboro Lodge:  Blake Conant                brattleboro@sterlingskiclub.org

Glen Ellen Lodge:   Clarissa Alimena              glenellen@sterlingskiclub.org

 How to make a Reservation:

1.     Contact the lodge reservationist by email or at a Sterling Meeting and provide the information for your desired reservation.

2.      The reservationist will confirm that space is available, and quote the cost for the reservation.  Both the “net” cost (what the club must receive) and the PayPal cost (what you must pay if you choose to use PayPal) will be quoted.

3.       Make your payment by Paypal, Check, or cash, and the reservation will be booked.  If the space is still available, you will receive a confirmation of the booking and the combination to the lodge door lock.

Note that if another reservation was made and paid for prior to your payment, and that reservation eliminates the space you requested, your reservation will not be booked, and you will be notified of the conflict.  If the payment was made via PayPal, your payment will not be refunded, but will be credited to you for use during the current fiscal year (October 1 to September 30).

Lodging and Lodging Rules
:

Making a reservation does not guarantee a specific bed; it is on a first come/first serve basis. However, we ask all Sterling and Winterset members to be considerate of families and couples. If you are traveling alone, we ask you to bunk in one of the dorms and leave the individual rooms to couples or families.

All Sterling and Winterset members and guests are expected to follow the Lodge Rules (see Lodge rules at http://www.sterlingskiclub.org/lodge_rules.pdf ). Everyone is expected to sign in/out per Vermont Law and sign up for clean up duties. Please leave the Lodge the way you found it so the next guests can enjoy themselves.

Lodge Work Weekends:

Each Lodge has a work weekend each Fall to do a deep clean, and maintenance on the Lodges. Volunteers from Winterset can attend. Lodging is free for the work weekend, some food is provided and volunteers earn one free nights lodging for the season for each day worked. The work weekends this year are October 4/5 for Glen Ellen and October 18/19 for Brattleboro. Volunteers must contact the Lodge Reservationists to register for the work weekend.
