Winterset Ski Club Membership Card Policy

Membership cards will be given out at Raffle Night anyone not picking up their card(s) that night should receive them in the mail in 7-10 days.

Winterset distributes their club membership cards mid-November.  Cards are available for and given out at Raffle Night. Anyone not attending Raffle Night will be mailed their membership cards during the following week.  Replacement cards and/or second cards will no longer be issued, this is due to new rules and regulations put into place by the Connecticut Ski Council.  Please keep track of your membership cards!

NEW MEMBERSHIP CARD POLICY

There is a new membership card policy that went into effect a couple of years ago (November 2004).  In years past, Winterset Ski Club has issued one card per membership.  Now due to changes put into place by the Connecticut Ski Council (see below) one card will be issued for each member.  This means that if you have a family of four, in the past you received one card to be used by all those four members, this year you will be receiving four separate cards. 

The Connecticut Ski Council requires showing proof of club membership in order to take part in many of their events and subsidized programs (Bulk Buy Lift Ticket Program, CSC Days, etc.).  Due to problems in the past with club members abusing these programs the Council has decided to now issue each MEMBER a CSC number.  This number will appear on a sticker on the back of your membership card.  Each number is unique to that individual member and a copy of this number and your name will be on file with the Connecticut Ski Council. 

Anyone buying Bulk Buy Lift Tickets - your ticket voucher numbers will also be linked to this CSC number.  Please note that Bulk Buy Lift Tickets must only be used by club members.  This does not mean that you cannot sell them to other members - just be sure that the person(s) that will be using these vouchers are actually members of Winterset Ski Club, or another ski club associated with the Connecticut Ski Council. 

Failure to follow CSC policies and procedures will result in Winterset Ski Club not being able to participate in future Bulk Buy Lift Ticket Programs.

Please note: Last year on one of the Day Bus Trips club members were asked to show their Membership Cards, so please bring them with you when you ski -- THANKS!
