So, What Do We Do Besides Ski?  

CLUB SOCIAL EVENTS

Winterset Ski Club sponsors several events during the year.  The year starts with an
Annual Picnic, followed by an Ice Cream Social.  Then comes our very popular Raffle
Night Event.

These events are usually held at the Meeting House in Newtown (at the flag pole),
one of the Newtown Firehouses or the Edmund Town Hall Gymnasium. 
The club provides refreshments.  Certain events require attending members to
bring a dish with them.  When this is necessary it will be stated on all
announcements and invitations.

In November is the Connecticut Ski Council (CSC) Snow Ball, a formal dance that
is the major fund raiser for the Connecticut Ski Council.  This is a fun-filled event
with GREAT raffle prizes.

We complete our social year with a Pot Luck Dinner in February or March, a Pizza &
Elections Night and every second year we welcome our new President and Board with
a Dinner-Dance.  As we proceed through the year information will be available on all
these events.  This is your club -- we encourage you to get out and join us.

Friends and guest interested in joining the club are always welcome at our events. 
If an RSVP is requested please email the club and it will be forwarded on and you will
be added to the list of attendees.

Children are welcome and encouraged at most functions.  (All except First
Wednesday, Pot Luck, CSC Snow Ball and Spring Dinner-Dance.)
