NEWS FLASH! Tech Night
is now in November
& Beer Tasting
Night is in January!
Our newest, and quickly
becoming our most popular social event...has now become TWO events!
Two year's ago year Winterset introduced
a new social event -- Tech Night! An evening to come learn all about ski
sharpening, waxing and maintenance. In addition we added a Beer Tasting
event to the night.
How did it work? Fabulously!
Seriously, we had a couple of member demonstrate the techniques and skills of
sharpening and waxing your skis -- this included the equipment you need, where
to buy it, what to buy, etc. The demonstrations and lessons were broken up
into different segments and between each segment the club got to learn about and
sample one of 5 different types of beer. Light, dark and every thing
in-between.

Tech Night and Beer
Tasting was a HUGE hit!
All who joined us had a great time learned the at home techniques needed
to
sharpen and wax their skis.
Thank you to our very talented members Chas, Bob, and Andy who conducted
the technical demonstrations.
Plus,
they all had an opportunity to learn about and taste some really great
beers.
Thanks to the Northeast Beverage Corp our group was
brought on
a tour of Europe and America through our taste buds.
