Sterling Ski Club Lodges

Sterling owns two lodges in Vermont. The Brattleboro Lodge is in West Brattleboro, VT and sleeps 30 people. It is less than an hour drive from most of southern Vermont’s premier ski areas such as Mt. Snow, Okemo, Bromley and Stratton Mountain. The Glen Ellen Lodge, located in Waitsfield, VT, sleeps 20 people. It is located slope-side on Mt. Ellen at Sugarbush North Ski Resort just a short walk or drive to the base lodge. Skiing at Sugarbush and Mad River Glen is just minutes away by car. Both lodges feature bedrooms with bunk beds, and shared bathrooms. Both have comfortable living and dining areas with full kitchens.

Brattleboro Lodge

The Brattleboro Lodge was built in 1959 by lodge members, and is entirely owned by Sterling Ski Club. It is maintained by members of the club, with major repairs performed in the spring and fall during work weekends (participation is not currently required, but is highly encouraged, and a great way to get to know other members). There are mens' and womens' dorms on the second floor, each with separate, full bathrooms, having five(5) bunks (10 beds) per dorm. The basement has four(4) bedrooms, one with four(4) bunks, and the other three rooms with two (2) bunks, and a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped (bring your own food) and has a counter. The living area has a fireplace with a conversation area, a living/dining area with large table, and several couches in a separate conversation area. There is a ski tuning bench in the basement, along with storage for skis, boots and equipment.

The half-basement has two bunk rooms and a full bathroom; the womens' and mens' dorms both sleep six people apiece. There is also a ski-tuning area in the basement.
