Winter 2011-2012
As Winterset's main focus is
skiing, as such, we tend to put most of our efforts into providing our members a
wide variety of ski trips and choices - concentrating on the months of January,
February and March. Our goal each year is to provide a trip that is
affordable and accommodating no matter what your level of skiing, your
lifestyle, or your income level.
Winterset does however, have a strong following and great success each year with
it's Rocking Horse Ranch Trip. To learn more about this trip, click on the

Links on the left hand side of
this page will take you to our Day Bus Ski Trips, our weekend and week long ski
trips planned for the 2011-2012 season. This year Winterset has week long
ski trips planned for Big Sky in February and Sugarloaf in Maine in
March. As always, we have our weekend
trips; this year in January (this is a weekend bus ski trip) and
the On-Snow Carnival the first weekend in March.
As for our Day Bus Trips, again this year we are planning on moving some of our
trips from Sunday to Saturday, and moving the leave time on some of the trips
from 5:30am to 6:00am. So check out the trip carefully to make sure you
have the right day AND the right time.
DAY BUS TRIP SCHEDULE USUALLY BECOMES AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS SOMETIME IN LATE
SEPTEMBER OR EARLY OCTOBER.

Winterset subsidizes an annual trip to Rocking Horse
Ranch in NY every fall.

We try to offer our members at least two weekend and
two week long trips each ski season.
- Day Bus Ski Trips

Our Day Bus Ski Trips are making a huge comeback --
buses are filling up and many times there is a waiting list. The trip
schedule is usually published in early September, at that time it will also
be available on the website.
