Winterset Trips Scheduled for the 2008-2009 Season

Winterset has a great lineup of trips planned for the season!

Before the snow flies, we're heading to trails of a different sort, on horseback.
Check out link for 'The Rocking Horse Ranch' trip, taking place this year October 17-19, 2008.

The first weeklong trip this year is to Colorado, March 14-21, 2009, skiing up to 5 different mountains,
including Breckenridge and Vail. Click on the 'Trips' link for more information.

Another of our longer trips (5 nights) is to Sugarloaf.
This is a very cost-effective trip, tentatively planned for the end of March.
Lots of skiing and lessons, for a very low price. Details will be under 'Overnight Ski Trips' as this trip
is finalized.

In addition, plans are in the works for weekend trips (some with transportation from Newtown),
one to Sugarbush and another to the On Snow Carnival at Okemo.
As the trip details finalize you will find them under "Overnight Ski Trips".

The new ski year officially began September 1, 2008.
Renewal membership forms went out in the mail the last week of August.  Renewal memberships received after October 1, 2008 are subject to a $10.00 late charge.  New memberships can be sent in at any time during the ski year.

The Board of Directors is working hard to plan a "Better than Ever" 2008-2009 Ski Season.

Board of Director Positions Open.  We are still looking for a couple of members to step forward and be part of the Board of Directors for the coming year.  If you, or someone you know, may be interested in the behind the scenes planning and running of the club - please email the club at wintersetskiclub@hotmail.com.

Bulk Buy Lift Tickets Sales will be on sale ONLY the month of September - this is a very small window of opportunity - don't miss out.

Raffle Night Plans - Plans are underway for this year's Raffle Night - save the date: November 29th, 2008 at the Edmond Town Hall.  More info to follow as it becomes available.

CSC Dance - Winterset has tickets for the annual Snowball Dance, held by the Connecticut Ski Council.  Full details available under CSC Information.

Constitution Updates and Changes - changes and updates to the Constitution are listed on the website.  These were voted on and approved at the Pasta and Elections Night held in May.
